In February 2017, Pulice donated lumber and provided judging for the 4th Annual Arizona Construction Championship, hosted by Metro Tech High School. The competition is organized by the Metro Tech Construction Program and is open to all high schools in the State. A total of 120 high school students from 12 schools competed in the following categories: Masonry, Electrical, Carpentry, and Construction Tech. The event gives a broader base of students the opportunity to test their skills and practice their construction skills in a real life application, while interacting with professionals in the industry. Winners in each category are awarded for their efforts and sent to the State Skills Championship, hosted by Skills USA Arizona.

Pulice Estimator Fred Pryor donated his time to serve as an industry judge for the Carpentry event. Fred spent the day with the students supervising and giving the students tips on safety and technique, and judged the finished products. Congrats to all the students who participated, and good luck to those headed to the State Skills Championship!
