Construction of the Twin Peaks traffic interchange, including I-10 reconstruction, on and off-ramps, Linda Vista Boulevard, Camino de Manana Road, Twin Peaks Road, Silverbell Road, and four pre-cast, pre-stressed concrete bridges. Originally, plans called for Linda Vista to be constructed in several phases, with the installment of a temporary detour road.
Instead, Pulice closed Linda Vista completely, therefore eliminating items such as temporary AC paving, striping, barrier, traffic control, and the inherent risk of working around public traffic. This alternate approach eliminated the construction of three detours and saved ADOT $65,000.
