Experienced civil and structural engineer brings more than 30 years of infrastructure leadership as Roadway Electric expands its work and deepens client relationships.
Roadway Electric has appointed Chema Bravo as Vice President. He will report to Victor Jimenez, President of Pulice – a FlatironDragados company, and will help lead the Pulice subsidiary’s continued growth in existing markets and support the company’s entry into new opportunities.
Bravo brings more than 30 years of experience delivering large-scale heavy civil and infrastructure projects, including more than 20 years in the renewable energy sector. Over the course of his career, he has held senior leadership roles overseeing engineering and construction for major power generation assets and guiding teams through complex project environments.
“Chema’s leadership will be vital as Roadway Electric pursues new opportunities,” Jimenez said. “He brings operational discipline, construction leadership and strategic perspective that will help strengthen the company.”
For Bravo, joining Roadway was about both the company’s foundation and its future.
“I am inspired by the company’s vision and the opportunity to help take a strong organization to the next level,” Bravo said.
Construction has also been part of his life from an early age.
“Construction is a family tradition for me,” Bravo said. “My father is an engineer, and my older sister is an architect. I have loved civil equipment since I was a child and take great pride in every project I have participated in.”
Bravo has built much of his career in the energy sector, where he has led work tied to complex infrastructure and power generation. He compares energy's potency to a Hollywood blockbuster.
“Energy is everywhere, so it is difficult to overlook,” Bravo said. “One moment that sounds out to me is seeing a massive illuminated tower that reminded me of Saruman’s tower from The Lord of the Rings. That moment sparked a great interest in energy production.”
He holds a bachelor’s degree in civil and structural engineering from the University of Seville and has completed a PhD-level management program at Loyola University. He also holds numerous professional certifications.
Bravo will be based in Roadway’s Scottsdale office.
