“Ultimately, finding your voice isn’t about becoming louder — it’s about showing up authentically, preparing strategically and creating environments where your contributions matter.”
That advice comes from Alex Larson, senior project engineer at Pulice – a FlatironDragados company, and it comes from lived experience. Alex grew up around construction, watching her father and uncle deliver complex work. She never questioned where she wanted to go, she just got to work.
Today, Alex supports work at the US60X Apache Trail Project in Arizona. She embraces the reality that plans change, conditions shift and teams succeed when they stay calm, listen well and pivot fast.
This Women in Construction Week, we’re proud to spotlight Alex’s story and the way she leads, with preparation, resilience and respect for the people around her.
