Construction on the 365 Tollway project has reached another significant benchmark as concrete paving operations approach the halfway point.
Crews recently placed approximately 42,000 square yards of continuously reinforced concrete pavement (CRCP) across nearly a quarter of the corridor. CRCP was selected for its durability and ability to withstand high traffic volumes and heavy commercial use, helping provide a long-lasting roadway for future travelers.
The paving progress reflects ongoing work to advance the 12.2-mile tollway corridor, which will improve regional connectivity and provide a dedicated route for commercial traffic through Hidalgo County.
With concrete paving now nearing 50% completion, work continues across multiple areas of the project as crews advance the corridor toward completion.
