Pulice — a FlatironDragados teams west of Houston have installed beams at the Union Pacific Railroad and set beams and poured sections of the bridge decks at the Colorado River crossing. Crews have also installed steel and concrete girders for the State Highway 71 connector over the I-10 main lanes.
This is part of our I-10 Colorado County project, reconstructing and widening six miles of I-10 near the city of Columbus.
Roadway preparation is also underway. Teams have constructed subgrade and placed base and bond breaker materials, creating the foundation for future concrete pavement. Concrete paving is expected to begin in the coming weeks.
These milestones advance key portions of the project and prepare additional areas for the next stage of construction.
