Our I-35 Capital Express team was happy to assist TxDOT with emergency deicing operations along I-35, US-183, and FM-620 in Austin.
When winter weather created hazardous conditions across Central Texas, our teams moved into action, rolling out heavy equipment and support vehicles to clear snow and ice from critical travel routes. Working together, crews helped improve roadway conditions and support safer travel for the community.
“This has been a continuous multiday effort,” said Construction Manager Vicente Domenech, “Teams have been coordinating closely, with additional support stepping in beyond our normal work to assist our neighbors.”
