“I’ve always been drawn to transportation and roadway projects and I knew this internship would challenge me and help me grow as an engineer.”
Meet Andrea Quitian, a Civil Engineering major who is currently supporting the structures discipline on the Loop 1604 Expansion project in San Antonio, Texas.
Andrea plays an active role in reviewing bridge plans, assisting with documentation, and gaining firsthand experience in field operations.
“I chose to intern at Pulice because I wanted hands-on experience, not just office work,” Andrea shared. “Pulice stood out because of the type of projects they take on. I’ve always been drawn to transportation and roadway projects and I knew this internship would challenge me and help me grow as an engineer.”
Construction Manager Tony Fernandez echoed that sentiment:
“Andrea jumped in right away and made an impact. She asks the right questions, stays sharp in the field, and fits in seamlessly with the team.”
Outside of work, Andrea is training for a marathon and enjoys trying out new sports in her free time. Whether she’s logging miles on the trail or catching a good movie, she brings energy and focus to everything she takes on.
We are committed to helping Andrea and all our interns reach their full potential in the heavy civil industry.
