As Equipment Director for Pulice Construction, Rafael is responsible for managing the company’s Equipment and Fleet Division of 500 vehicles and 800 pieces of major and minor equipment. As Equipment Director, he defines all project equipment requirements across the US, including Joint Ventures. He leads the procurement plan for equipment, sources suppliers and vendors both locally and internationally, and negotiates purchase and rental equipment contracts. Rafael leads the installation, implementation, and management of equipment plants (concrete plants, soil cement plants, asphalt plants, crushers, etc.). He also leads operational control of equipment, installations, and introduces plant policies and processes. Rafael is responsible for cost control of the Equipment Division and oversees the financial reporting of the Division.

Rafael has a B.S. in Industrial Engineering, with a specialization in electricity from the University of Seville in Spain. He also holds a Master’s degree in Health and Safety. In his spare time, Rafael enjoys soccer and is a supporter of Sevilla FC – he became a member when he was just eight years old.  He also enjoys traveling.
